The relationship between agency costs and corporate performance constitutes a significant area of research, garnering substantial interest from scholars globally, including those in Vietnam. In the context of an increasingly competitive business environment, the effective minimization of agency costs is crucial for the success and sustainable development of enterprises. This paper conducts a comprehensive review of previous studies, elucidating the various factors influencing agency costs. Furthermore, the paper proposes a quantitative model to analyze the impact of agency costs on corporate performance. This model not only provides a robust theoretical foundation but also offers practical applications for corporate management, enhancing transparency and facilitating the design of more effective corporate governance mechanisms
