Factors influencing national competitiveness: Evidence from asian countries International trade
Tóm tắt
The purpose of this article is to study factors influencing national competitiveness, based on data from 13 Asian countries during the period from 2008 to 2019, the finding showed that: Potential for technological diffusion, technology competitiveness and high-technology trade, both in exports and imports, in positively influencing national competitiveness. However, competitiveness in production capacity is not a significant advantage in enhancing national competitiveness. Moreover, if a country aims to develop high-technology industries, it will have greater potential to enhance its national competitiveness.
