This paper consider the theme of Fair value in measuring elements, including in initial and subsequent measurement. This paper shows the cases of IASB and FASB in the concern, also the implication for Vietnam regulation. There are still significant challenges that need to be overcome in order to implement Fair value in Vietnam and there are still substantial comparability problems for cross-border users
