This article provides an overview of the current situation of bad debts and the measures taken by the banking system to tackle bad debts in the period of 2020-2022, a time heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic for both commercial banks and the entire economy. Consequently, it proposes solutions to enhance the current management of bad debts for Vietnamese commercial banks.
